America’s Got Talent, sometimes known as AGT, is a television talent show competition in the United States that is a part of Simon Cowell’s global Got Talent franchise. The show, which airs on the NBC television network, is produced by Fremantle USA and distributed by Syco Entertainment. 1. Kodi Taehyun Lee
One of the Top Asians who have won the AGT is Kodi Taehyun Lee. Born on July 7, 1996, Kodi Taehyun Lee is an American pianist, singer, and composer. After competing in and eventually winning the 14th season of America’s Got Talent, he became well-known.
Lee tried out for American Idol in 2019, and in a matter of weeks, his performance received over 50 million views online. He was crowned the winner at the conclusion of the season.
Kodi Lee was born with optic nerve hypoplasia, which left him legally blind. His parents were an Indonesian-American mother and a Korean father. In addition to having Addison’s disease, he was also diagnosed with autism at a young age. Even more international recognition came from his performances on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, America’s Got Talent during its 13th season in 2018, and America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Born in Singapore, Lim is the second of three children.
His ancestry is Han Chinese. In Vancouver, where his father was doing doctoral studies, Lim was born. At the age of two, Lim’s family returned to Singapore, then at the age of eleven, they relocated to Acton, Massachusetts.
3. Kenichi Ebina
Japanese performance artist Kenichi Ebina gained notoriety on September 18, 2013, when she emerged victorious in the eighth season of America’s Got Talent. Ebina described his solo performance as “dance-ish,” highlighting his distinct self-taught approach that blends acting, narrative, and various dance forms, such as freestyle, hip-hop, mime, martial arts, jazz, and ethnic dance.
He creates and plays all the characters he frequently interacts with on a video screen behind him. Kenichi was born in 1974, and Ebina graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 1998 with an Associate of Arts in General Studies and in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. In Japan, Kenichi is married and has a daughter.
