The phenomenal TEMS( interesting facts): Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who was born on June 11th, 1995. After becoming a part of Wizkid’s 2020 single “Essence,” which was later released in a remix with Justin Bieber and peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 list, she gained notoriety. She was nominated for a Grammy for the song. She appeared in Drake’s song “Fountains” that same year.
Tems has won numerous awards over the course of her career, including a Grammy, two NAACP Image Awards, two BET Awards, and two Soul Train Music Awards. She also collaborated on the song “Lift Me Up” by Rihanna, which led to nominations for both the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Tems was born in Lagos, Nigeria, to a Nigerian mother and a British-Nigerian father. After her parents split, Tems relocated to the UK shortly after birth before returning to Nigeria at age 5. Tems adores tea, just like any other Brit, and her favorite flavor is orange and spice.
