1. Both his parents are musicians
You probably had no idea that both of Don Jazzy’s parents were musicians. His father, Mr. Collins Ifeanyi Enebeli Ajereh, is an entrepreneur, record producer, manager of performers, and business owner.
He leads the Artist Managers Association as its president. Without a doubt, Don Jazzy learned how to manage and produce music from his father.
2. He was once married

The head of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has said he is still a devout follower of the “Cherubim and Seraphim” white robe church. The revered music producer was honored by the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim church.
And, images of him as a child wearing the organization’s attire surfaced online. Many others were astonished because they were unaware the numerous award-winning beat creator was a member of the church prior to this.
4. Early life
Early in his youth, Don Jazzy developed a passion for music, and at the age of 12, he started learning to play the piano and bass guitar. Additionally, he learned about folk and percussion instruments. Don Jazzy enrolled at Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma, Edo State to study business management.
5. He once worked as a security man
His first trip to London was in 2000 when Jazzy’s uncle asked him to perform the drums for a nearby church. Don Jazzy was hired as a security guard at McDonald’s.
6. He created Mavins with old friends
Don Jazzy announced the launch of Mavin Records on May 7, 2012. He declared, “I anticipate Mavin Records becoming the continent’s dominant musical force in the shortest amount of time. He published an album on May 8, 2012, featuring the performers on his label.
Amarachi, Forever, Oma Ga, Take Banana and Chocolate, YOLO, and the anthem “I’m a MAVIN” were among the tracks on the album. Tiwa Savage was signed by Mavin Records as a vocalist. To support and promote his label, Don Jazzy created the “Marvin League” social media platform.
Ajereh and musician Wande Coal had a disagreement on November 5 of that year, and Coal quit the label two days later. With Reekado Banks and Di’Ja, Ajereh created a Nigerian social activist song in September 2014 titled arise

Some of the wards he has received over the years include:

8. He lost his mother last year
He shared the news of his mother’s passing on Instagram in July 2022. Don Jazzy, a famed Nigerian beatmaker, and his brother D’Prince, a well-known Nigerian musician, lost their mother to cancer in a terribly heartbreaking development.
