Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, better known by his stage name Adekunle Gold, is a highlife and Afro singer, composer, and graphic designer from Nigeria. He was born into the Kosoko family on January 28, 1987, in Lagos state Nigeria.

He attended Lagos State Polytechnic (Laspotech) for his higher education after completing his elementary and secondary schooling also in Lagos where he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Arts and Design. Because of his special ability to share a changed Photoshop image of himself with well-known artists, he was dubbed the “King of Photoshop.” But in 2015, after becoming YBNL’s official designer and creating the label’s official logo, his Photoshop images became reality when he got a record label deal with them however this time it was for his singing ability.

His first debut album was titled “GOLD.” which was released on July 28, 2016, and after tremendous singles like “Sade.

Adekunle Gold is now married to his longtime lover Simi another talented singer and songwriter and in May 2020, they welcomed their beautiful daughter named Adejare Kosoko. However, Adekunle shocked many people not only with his new song titled “5 stars”, when He revealed he is a sickle cell patient who has fought the pain for years and still emerged as one of Nigeria’s top singers presently.
